We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our Product Marketing Client Analytics team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in supporting Product Marketing, Investor Relations, and the Executive Team with analysis on customer product and services engagement. You will be responsible for conducting regular and ad-hoc analyses, data mining, and predictive analytics to provide strategic and tactical insights related to the dynamic customer and device install base.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Scientist on our Product Marketing Client Analytics team, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting Product Marketing, Investor Relations, and the Executive Team with analysis on customer product and services engagement
• Conducting regular and ad-hoc analyses, data mining, and predictive analytics to provide strategic and tactical insights related to the dynamic customer and device install base
• Consulting and supporting Product Marketing business analysts with insights and recommendations for iPhone, iPad, Mac, iPod, Apple TV, Apple Watch, and the convergence of customer product and services engagement
• Collaborating cross-functionally with iTunes, iCloud, Sales, Retail, Apple Online Store, AppleCare, and Services teams on joint customer analytics projects
• Designing and implementing end-to-end enhanced data modeling pipelines and customer analytics scripted solutions using Python and/or Spark
• Managing data science projects through all stages, including data quality, data modeling, algorithm/feature development, statistical analysis, and data visualization

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• 5+ years of industry experience building data science-driven solutions to solve business problems
• 3+ years of hands-on coding skills (Python, R, or Spark), handling large-scale data, deriving key insights, developing machine learning models on structured and unstructured data, and maintaining production ML pipelines as part of a production-type analytical solution
• Bachelor's degree in Business (with quantitative emphasis), Statistics, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Analytics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Strong technical database and data modeling knowledge (Oracle, Hadoop, Snowflake), and experience optimizing SQL queries on large datasets
• 3+ years of experience working with Tableau or other data visualization technologies
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to develop and present conclusions and recommendations to senior executives
• Ability to work effectively with sometimes ambiguous data and constructs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities
• Deep understanding of analytical methods and machine learning algorithms including regression, clustering, classification, optimization, regularization, dimensionality reduction, and other advanced analytical techniques
• Team player who enjoys collaborating with others

Compensation and Benefits

At arenaflex, base salary is just one part of our total compensation package, which is determined within a range. This allows for progression as you grow and develop within the role. The base salary range for this position is competitive and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. arenaflex employees also have the opportunity to become arenaflex shareholders through participation in arenaflex's discretionary employee stock programs.
