Experienced Chat Moderator – Remote Community Management and Discord Server Moderation

Job Summary

As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our Discord server remains a safe and welcoming space for all users. This will involve monitoring chat activity, enforcing community guidelines, and resolving conflicts in a fair and respectful manner. If you're passionate about community building, have excellent communication skills, and are comfortable working in a remote environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

* Moderate chat activity on our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to community guidelines and rules

• Delete messages that violate our community guidelines, including but not limited to:

+ Hate speech or discriminatory language + Spam or self-promotional content + Inflammatory or provocative language

• Ban users who repeatedly violate our community guidelines, following a fair and transparent process
• Mute users who have violated our community guidelines, as a temporary measure to prevent further issues
• Investigate reports made by users about potential rule violations, and take action as necessary
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive community environment
• Stay up-to-date with community guidelines and rules, and provide feedback on how to improve our moderation processes

Essential Qualifications

* 18 years of age or older

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with Discord and its moderation tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience as a moderator or administrator on a Discord server or other online community

• Knowledge of community management principles and best practices
• Familiarity with arenaflex's mission and values
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
