Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Associate to join our remote team in San Antonio, TX. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for processing incoming healthcare claim forms, capturing and validating complex data, and utilizing various systems to work on assigned tasks. Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Capturing and validating more complex data with high accuracy
• Image classification and indexing
• Pre-adjudicating documents and correcting data as required
• Verifying data from automated data extraction tools
• Utilizing various systems to work on assigned tasks
• Completing assignments using multiple source documents to verify data or use additional information to do the work
• Working within established procedures and practices
• Working under close supervision

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Must be able to type at least 45+ WPM with high accuracy
• 10-key by touch proficiency
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and internet research
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while performing functions with high accuracy rate
• Maintain or exceed 4,000 ksph for numeric, and 2,500 ksph alpha/numeric with less than 1% error rate
• Basic knowledge of medical claims form processing preferred
• Experience working through VPN connection
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be able to clear any necessary criminal background checks or drug screenings

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience working in a data entry or claims processing environment
• Familiarity with medical claims form processing software and systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits
