Job Summary
We're looking for a highly organized and accurate Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a temporary contract basis. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Accurately entering, managing, and maintaining master data files
- Reviewing and analyzing form data to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Collaborating with other departments to identify data errors and implement solutions
- Creating and establishing new master data processes as needed
- Working closely with our HR systems team to ensure seamless data management
Required Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of data entry or data maintenance experience, preferably from a customer service, sales, accounting, IT, or business environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Familiarity with data management systems and software
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Experience working with HR systems and data management software
- Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools
- Certification in data entry or data management
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Work Environment
This temporary contract position is to cover a maternity leave from mid-September through early January. You will be part of our HR systems team, working remotely or in-office in Kansas City. The role requires approximately 30 hours per week, with flexible hours between 7 AM and 6 PM CST.
