Role Overview
We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join our remote team! As a Data Entry Operator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our data entry processes. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Operator, you'll be responsible for:
- Entering customer and account data: You'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data from various sources into our Company database software.
- Identifying and correcting errors: You'll use quality control methods to identify and correct errors, ensuring that our data is accurate and reliable.
- Reviewing data for discrepancies: You'll review data for discrepancies in information and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
- Notifying applicable department leadership: You'll notify applicable department leadership if the system is not accepting information.
- Maintaining a daily production log: You'll maintain a daily production log to ensure that all time and work is accurately documented.
What You Can Bring
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
- 2 years of experience in full Data Entry capacity: While not mandatory, 2 years of experience in full Data Entry capacity is preferred.
- Excellent alpha and number recognition skills: You'll need to have excellent alpha and number recognition skills to accurately enter data.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately: You'll need to be able to work quickly and accurately, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to key 10,000 keystrokes per hour: You'll need to be able to key 10,000 keystrokes per hour, equivalent to 45-50 wpm.
- Excellent oral and written communication: You'll need to have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and management.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a group: You'll need to be able to work both independently and as part of a group, with minimal supervision.
- Reliable and predictable attendance: You'll need to have reliable and predictable attendance, with the ability to work full time and/or part time based on the position specifications.
