Job Summary

As a Data Entry Operator I, you will be responsible for operating keyboard-controlled data entry devices, such as computers, key-operated magnetic tape, or disc encoders, to transcribe data into a format suitable for computer processing. You will work under close supervision and follow specific procedures or detailed instructions to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Your attention to detail, strong keyboard skills, and ability to work independently will make you an excellent fit for this role.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate keyboard-controlled data entry devices, such as computers, key-operated magnetic tape, or disc encoders, to transcribe data into a format suitable for computer processing.

• Work under close supervision and follow specific procedures or detailed instructions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance, adhering to arenaflex's attendance policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor or management team.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless data entry and management processes.

Minimum Qualifications

* Minimum of two (2) years' experience in data entry on arenaflex's systems.

• Associates degree in an applied science or relevant field. In lieu of degree, relevant work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
• Skilled in operating an alphanumeric keyboard.
• Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

* Understanding of transcribing procedures and relevant data entry equipment.

• Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
• Flexibility in scheduling work hours and available for occasional travel.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Requirements

* Work Schedule: Full-time, with the possibility of working additional hours as needed to complete assignments or projects.

• Travel: Less than 75% of the time, with occasional travel required for training and short local driving.
• Driving Requirements: Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver's license and be insurable on arenaflex's automobile insurance policy.

Work Environment

As a Data Entry Operator I, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often performing tasks outdoors in various climates and conditions. You may be exposed to sharp objects, heat, loud noise, chemicals, lead, and vibration. arenaflex strictly adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHA) regulations, and the use of personal protective equipment is mandatory if applicable. You will work side by side with our clients, including US Marines, in all climates and conditions.

Physical Demands

The position requires standing for long periods, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. You will frequently use your hands and fingers to handle tools, such as lawn equipment, outdoor tools, shovels, wrenches, screwdrivers, wire cutters, pliers, and soldering irons.
