The Role

As a Part-time Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:

  • Accounting, payroll, customer service, gatehouse, file room, rates department, and other office tasks as assigned
  • Providing exceptional customer service in a professional and courteous manner
  • Reading and following outlined SOPs for each operational area
  • Multi-tasking and performing various functions with emphasis on attention to detail
  • Working within a team environment and being accountable for performance and initiative
  • Adapting to changing priorities and learning new aspects of the operation

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Previous experience in an office position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous experience in accounting and/or customer service is preferred
  • Valid Alaska driver's license
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card
  • Membership in the Union
  • Physical requirements, including lifting up to 10 pounds, sitting for up to 50 minutes per hour, standing for up to 30 minutes per hour, walking for up to 20 minutes per hour, twisting, bending, and reaching
