Primary Duties & Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Heavy phone contact with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties to provide excellent customer service and resolve inquiries and issues
  • Processing policyholder requests from correspondence, phone calls, and emails in a timely and efficient manner
  • Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintaining department standards for number of calls, average handle time, and time management to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Demonstrating excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills to effectively resolve customer issues and provide clear explanations
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Utilizing strong decision-making skills to analyze situations and make logical conclusions to resolve customer issues
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with high stress levels, remaining calm and composed, and providing exceptional service to customers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred
  • At least one year of office experience, with telecommunications experience a plus
  • A life and health insurance background and knowledge of insurance operations desired
  • Excellent customer service background and good phone skills
  • Strong communication, both written and oral, and organization skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Excellent alpha and number recognition skills
  • Demonstrated mathematical abilities
  • Basic PC skills
  • Ability to type at least 30WPM
  • Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift
  • Ability to work Full-Time and/or Part-Time based on the specific position for which you're applying

Physical Requirements

As a remote work from home opportunity, you'll need to:

  • Have a dedicated home office/room or quiet and designated space to work in
  • Have a fire extinguisher in your home for safety purposes
  • Have a smartphone and high-speed internet (20mbps upload) before starting work
  • Be able to work 40-hour workweek with regular and predictable attendance
