Job Summary
As a software engineer on our team, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including iOS engineering, human interface designers, privacy, security, and other organizations across arenaflex and our partners. Your expertise will be essential in shaping the future of home security and automation, and we're excited to have you join our journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop high-level consumer interfaces, writing history processing and networking code, and growing frameworks used by different teams at arenaflex
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address customer pain points, developing innovative solutions that meet their needs
- Optimize software performance, ensuring fast live video streaming and short access to recorded videos
- Develop and maintain existing features, while introducing new and revolutionary ideas for the future
- Work closely with iOS engineering groups, human interface designers, privacy, security, and other organizations across arenaflex and our partners
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in iOS programming, with a strong understanding of HomeKit security cameras and video processing
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Objective-C, and C++
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for addressing complex issues in innovative ways
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with HomeKit security cameras and video processing
- Strong understanding of optimization and performance issues across OS software layers
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
- Experience with cloud-based services and APIs, such as AWS or Google Cloud
