Responsibilities
As an Advanced Analytics & Optimization Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing Marketing Mix Models for various business initiatives, leveraging advanced statistical methodologies to drive business growth and inform strategic decisions.
- Transforming version outcomes into actionable insights, helping our partners understand historical media effects and trends in media performance.
- Creating and delivering insightful analytic displays that provide consultative paths to key stakeholders, driving business outcomes and informing strategic decisions.
- Building and maintaining various statistical models for Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products business initiatives and business problems, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Performing exploratory data analysis to gain insights into business operations and validate data, driving business growth and informing strategic decisions.
Essential Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of experience with diverse analytic, data mining, and machine learning methodologies, including multivariate regression, combined models, clustering, time series regression, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in R or Python for data mining and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize and present complex analytics to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
* High scalability with the use of R or Python for data mining and analytics.
- Prior work experience within a media business or analytics consulting firm.
- Knowledge of marketing or media blend modeling.
- Expertise in advanced data mining and statistical methodologies.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Required Education
* Master's degree or equivalent in statistics, mathematics, economics, data mining, computer science, engineering, or operations research.
Preferred Education
* Ph.D. or equivalent in statistics, mathematics, economics, data mining, computer science, engineering, or operations research.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay provided will be commensurate with internal fairness and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term performance incentive plans may be provided as part of the compensation package, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the level and role provided.
