What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
As a Customer Care Associate, you'll be responsible for:
- Handling incoming calls from policyholders, beneficiaries, agents, and internal customers with professionalism and empathy
- Providing front-line phone customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving issues efficiently
- Fielding approximately 75 to 100 calls per day, staying focused and composed under pressure
- Developing and maintaining a solid working knowledge of the insurance industry and products, staying up-to-date on industry developments and trends
- Collaborating with management and team members to address service issues and concerns, fostering a culture of open communication and teamwork
What is Required (Qualifications)
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 1 year of experience in an office environment, demonstrating your ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- 1 year of experience using a computer with Microsoft Windows PC applications, showcasing your technical skills
- 6 months of work-from-home experience, highlighting your ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- A high school diploma or GED, demonstrating your basic education and training
