Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our organization, providing exceptional support to customers and brokers through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions. You'll be responsible for resolving customer inquiries, processing transactions, and facilitating the issuance of policies. Key Responsibilities
* Answer incoming calls and assist callers with inquiries, including: + New business (quotation/payment status) + Renewals (payment/issuance status) + Endorsements (processing status/evidence of insurance requests) + Inspections + Deficiency letters + Cancellations/non-renewals + CEA (payment/policy/quotation status)
- Perform daily assigned work with primary emphasis on call center activities
- Research and resolve customer or broker questions/problems
- Handle agency licensing tasks, including:
+ Registering new brokers + Address changes + Agency mergers
- Follow up with other departments to resolve problem files
- Input data in a desktop database for all incoming calls
- Assist customers at the front desk when necessary
- Distribute faxes and other correspondence to the department
- Facilitate the processing of evidence of insurance requests as required
- Participate in individual and group training designed to improve service
- Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma and basic computer skills required
- 1 year of insurance experience (coverage knowledge) and customer service/call center experience required
- Good communication skills with emphasis on phone skills
- Good interpersonal skills (both internal and external) and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to perform slightly varied moderately complex tasks
- Occasional decision making and judgment required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Sound decision making skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Experience with desktop databases and software applications
- Familiarity with the insurance industry and regulatory requirements
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
