Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative I, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing customer services relating to sales, sales promotions, installations, and communications
- Ensuring good customer relations are maintained and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly, effectively, and in accordance with consumer laws
- Developing organization-wide initiatives to proactively inform and educate customers
- Developing improvement plans in response to customer surveys
- Checking and validating accuracy of incoming surgery product usage cases
- Supporting Stryker Sales Representatives in case of product usage discrepancies
- Building relationships with hospital billing specialists and supporting surgery product usage questions to accelerate billing process
- Following up with hospitals about purchase orders and clarifying discrepancies
- Building relationships with Stryker Sales Representatives and supporting requested product/case information
- Determining when Representative support requires escalation based on complexity of request and priority level of need
- Following order entry process and backing up team members
- Providing proactive updates on order status to accelerate billing process
- Ensuring that hospital-requested products are on track for delivery and communicating kit needs to warehouse if quick delivery is required
- Providing phone support for inquiries from sales and healthcare professionals
- Providing feedback and suggestions to improve service levels, internal processes, and customer support methodology
- Supporting Stryker Sales by providing answers to questions generated by telephone, e-mails, and fax
- Researching responses with sales
- Preparing product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information
- Implementing procedures to maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system through proper billing and replenishment processes
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent – required
- 2+ years of customer or account management experience – required
- Demonstrated knowledge of the medical implant industry and hospital customer base – preferred

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in customer service, account management, or sales
- Knowledge of medical implant industry and hospital customer base
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
