We're excited to announce an internship opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our Netfx Crew, a cutting-edge Visual Effects (VFX) initiative that optimizes the pairing of skills to responsibilities to execute a high volume of global productions. As an intern, you'll play a critical role in facilitating departmental wishes and participate in a program that offers training and development to equip you with the skills necessary to become a strong candidate for future entry-level positions in business analytics.

About the Internship

As a Data Analyst Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including:

• Conducting a comprehensive evaluation of current well-established transactional, digital marketplaces
• Studying and examining industry developments and competitive landscapes for global marketplaces
• Providing insights and recommendations based on market analysis to aid strategic decision-making
• Collaborating with senior team members to plot and refine aggressive pricing strategies
• Helping to develop financial models to evaluate business performance and assess capability situations
• Contributing to forecasting and budgeting procedures to support financial planning efforts
• Collaborating with teams across departments to recognize business opportunities

Responsibilities

* Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of current well-established transactional, digital marketplaces

• Study and examine industry developments and competitive landscapes for global marketplaces
• Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to aid strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with senior team members to plot and refine aggressive pricing strategies
• Help develop financial models to evaluate business performance and assess capability situations
• Contribute to forecasting and budgeting procedures to support financial planning efforts
• Collaborate with teams across departments to recognize business opportunities

Requirements

* Interest in working within the entertainment industry

• Hobby in global marketplace evaluation and platform (customer/setter) experience
• Must be living in the L. location during the internship (relocation and housing guide may be provided, if applicable)
• Familiarity with software programs, including Google Suite (e.g., Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel)
• Collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative to work independently
• Attention to detail and practices true judgment
• Curious about getting to know new technology and workflows
• Ability to keep confidentiality and utmost discretion while being privy to sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in data analysis or a related field

• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques
• Experience working with large datasets and data management systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
