Key Responsibilities

As a Collision Repair Customer Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Work Scheduling Maintenance: Ensure efficient scheduling and coordination of repair work, minimizing delays and maximizing productivity.
  • Liaison between Customer Claim Specialists and the Body Shop: Facilitate seamless communication between our Internal Body Shop and Customer Claim Specialists, ensuring that customer expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Vehicle Arrival Preparation: Coordinate the arrival of vehicles at our Body Shop, ensuring that all necessary documentation and information are in place.
  • WARP and CCC Management Arrival: Manage the arrival of vehicles in our system, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Customer Verbal Exchange and Expectation: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers are informed and satisfied throughout the repair process.
  • Rental Coordination and Handoff: Coordinate rental arrangements and ensure smooth handoffs between our team and rental providers.
  • Vehicle Reputation Updates: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle repairs and status.
  • Material and Components Reordering: Order and manage the procurement of necessary materials and components for repairs.
  • Repair Overview and Delivery: Ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standards, and that vehicles are delivered to customers in a timely and satisfactory manner.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Certificate from Vocational School in Collision Repair: A certificate from a recognized vocational school in collision repair is preferred, but not essential.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and external partners.
  • Ability to Establish and Maintain Cooperative Working Relationships: The ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues, customers, and external partners, including the public.
  • Microsoft Office Experience: Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to Teach Others: The ability to teach and train others, sharing your knowledge and expertise to support the growth and development of our team.
  • Comfortable Working in a Collision Repair Environment: A willingness to work in a collision repair environment, with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards.
  • Ability to Work Independently in Constrained Supervision Environments: The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate from vocational school in collision repair preferred.

  • 1-2 years of experience in a collision repair or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
