Experienced Full Stack DevOps Engineer – Cloud Application Development and Automation

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack DevOps Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our DevOps team, you'll be responsible for driving organizational change in creating DevOps tooling, practices, and culture. You'll contribute to business-wide requirements and ensure the adoption of best practices, including transparency, flexibility, accessibility, security, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead DevOps strategy, covering planning, development of tools, practices, and culture

  • Establish and maintain DevOps best practices, including version control, code review, automated testing, and deployment techniques
  • Design and manage infrastructure as code, using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar, to provision and manage assets across cloud environments
  • Execute and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar, ensuring fast and reliable application deployment
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure teams are adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor and analyze DevOps pipelines and practices, identifying areas for improvement, development, and automation to enhance deployment/failback consistency and accuracy
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies, trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for their adoption within the organization's DevOps environment
  • Coach and provide technical guidance to junior colleagues, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience working in open cloud environments, GCP (e.g.), Azure, AWS, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for automating asset provisioning and deployment
  • Active involvement in CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or similar
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex DevOps stage issues and provide effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Cloud Logging Solutions) to ensure application performance and system health

  • Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including experience with vulnerability scanning, compliance frameworks, and secure deployment practices
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring and directing junior specialists, is a plus
