What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a Remote Online Chat Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming customer live chats: You'll be the first point of contact for our customers, responding to their queries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Evaluating customer interactions and escalating issues: You'll be responsible for evaluating customer interactions and escalating issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary.
  • Building relationships with new customers: You'll work with new customers to understand their needs and provide them with personalized support and solutions.
  • Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems: You'll respond to customer queries accurately and concisely, providing them with the information they need to make informed decisions.
  • Providing administrative support to the customer service team: You'll work closely with the customer service team to provide administrative support and ensure that our customers receive the best possible service.

What We Require (Qualifications)

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Experience in customer service: You'll need to have experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or call center environment.
  • Strong telephone etiquette: You'll need to have excellent telephone etiquette and be able to communicate effectively with customers over the phone.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools: You'll need to have familiarity with CRM tools and be able to use them to manage customer interactions and data.
  • Excellent communication skills: You'll need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
