Experienced Full Stack Data Engineer – Distributed Data Systems and Cloud Application Development

About the Role

As a full stack data engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale distributed data systems that support arenaflex's data-driven initiatives. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and data science, to develop and deploy data solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders. Your expertise will be critical in helping us achieve our goals of delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure data systems that support our growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop large-scale distributed data systems that support arenaflex's data-driven initiatives

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data solutions that meet business needs
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines that integrate with various data sources and systems
• Develop and deploy data products that drive business growth and improve user experience
• Work closely with data scientists and engineers to develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality, maintainable code
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data systems and pipelines
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply that knowledge to improve arenaflex's data infrastructure

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed data systems and cloud applications

• Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
• Experience with data storage systems such as Hadoop, Cassandra, or MongoDB
• Familiarity with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Flink, or Storm
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Flink

• Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence tools such as AWS Redshift or Tableau
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS Lake Formation or Google Cloud Data Fusion
• Strong understanding of data governance and security principles
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
