Primary Duties & Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Heavy phone contact with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties to provide excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Processing policyholder requests from correspondence, phone calls, and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintaining department standards for number of calls, average handle time, and time management to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Providing excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with tact and professionalism.
  • Demonstrating strong alpha and number recognition skills, as well as mathematical abilities, to accurately process transactions and resolve issues.
  • Utilizing basic PC skills to navigate our systems and tools efficiently.
  • Handling high-stress situations calmly and with professionalism, making logical conclusions and decisions to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintaining regular and predictable attendance to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred.
  • At least one year of office experience, with telecommunications experience a plus.
  • A strong background in life and health insurance, with knowledge of insurance operations desired.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with tact and professionalism.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze situations and make logical conclusions.
  • Basic PC skills and ability to navigate our systems and tools efficiently.

Physical Requirements

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be working in a fast-paced environment that requires:
