Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk (Typist) at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Updating and maintaining provider file information across various systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation is submitted to the provider file database(s), adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Conducting research on provider contracts and recommending necessary actions for maintenance, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Investigating and resolving claims edits related to provider files, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Analyzing reports to identify data corrections and streamline processes, improving overall efficiency.
  • Performing quality control reviews on provider files to ensure accuracy and compliance, maintaining high standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED; an Associate's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a general business environment; 2 years in the health insurance field is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a keen eye for accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in data entry and management systems.
