Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll interact directly with patients to provide education, answer questions, and solve problems related to generic utilization and therapy changes. You'll work closely with our Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, while maintaining our company's reputation for high-quality service. This role requires independent and self-directed performance, as well as effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, with a goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients

  • Work closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications
  • Conduct adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies
  • Effectively handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, while proactively gaining patient and order information
  • Provide customer education and routine assessment and problem identification with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist
  • Maintain a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ years of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone

  • 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application
  • Must reside in the state of Nevada
  • Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting

  • Knowledge of generic medications and therapy changes
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
