Job Summary
As a Remote Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for preparing, planning, and executing custom vacation packages for our clients. You'll work directly with clients, vendors, and suppliers to create unforgettable travel experiences. Responsibilities
* Prepare, plan, and execute travel itineraries, including but not limited to: + Airline reservations + Car rental bookings + Cruise reservations + Resort and hotel bookings + Amusement park tickets + Concert and sporting event tickets + Other tours and activities
- Process payments on behalf of clients to secure reservations
- Maintain relationships with industry-specific vendors and suppliers
- Attend ongoing trainings to maintain and increase knowledge within the industry
- Provide superior customer service to clients
- Provide details to clients regarding any required travel documents, such as passports or visas
- Complete required Certification program in a timely manner
- Complete and maintain agent registrations with vendors and suppliers
- Utilize laptop, computer, or smartphone with reliable internet access
- Manage time effectively and stay organized
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Skills and Requirements
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Familiarity with travel industry software and systems
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Personal travel experience is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Previous experience in hospitality and/or sales is an advantage, but not a requirement
- Must be 18 years of age and be authorized to work in the US
