Job Summary

We're seeking a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor to join our team on a flexible schedule of 34 hours per week. As a remote worker, you'll have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, with flexible hours between 8am and 4:30pm CST. If selected for further consideration, you'll be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment, demonstrating an 8,200 KSPH with a 98% Accuracy Rate.

Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you'll be responsible for:

  • Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers
  • Entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times
  • Navigating efficiently and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry
  • Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines
  • Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times
  • Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements

Additional Responsibilities

In addition to the key responsibilities, you'll also be expected to:

  • Perform quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed
  • Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies
  • Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate

Qualifications

To be a successful Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role
  • Strong data entry/typing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High degree of accuracy

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with imaging software and data entry systems
