The role
InvestEngine is looking for a Design Team Lead to run the day-to-day operation of the Design function and raise the bar on how the team works. This is a leadership role where your output is the team’s output.You’ll partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure work is well-scoped, prioritised, and delivered predictably. A major part of the role is building a scalable system: goals, operating cadence, quality gates, and a practical approach to AI/tooling that improves speed and consistency.
What you’ll be responsible for
Lead and develop a team of designers (hiring, performance management, coaching, 1:1 cadence)
Establish a reliable operating model: intake, prioritisation, SLAs, delivery tracking, and stakeholder satisfaction
