As a key member of our team, we are seeking an experienced Data Entry Payroll Clerk to join our Decatur, IL office. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual to contribute to the success of our organization by maintaining payroll information and entering data into our payroll system.

Job Summary

As a Data Entry Payroll Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll information
  • Entering data into our payroll system with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Performing various clerical duties as assigned by management
  • Collaborating with the payroll team to ensure seamless processing of payroll data
  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll information, including employee data, hours worked, and benefits

  • Enter data into our payroll system with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Perform various clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure seamless processing of payroll data
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry or payroll administration
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field

  • Experience with payroll software and systems
  • Certification in payroll administration or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience. The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
