Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Accurately entering prescription details into our pharmacy management system, adhering to state and federal regulations
- Reviewing scanned prescription documents and verifying medication, prescriber, patient, and insurance data with precision
- Communicating with pharmacists and leads to resolve discrepancies or missing information, ensuring seamless medication fulfillment
- Consistently meeting productivity and quality benchmarks for prescription intake, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently and accurately
- Maintaining accurate records of all data entry activity to support internal audits and compliance reviews
- Identifying and escalating potential issues, including prescription errors or insurance denials, to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
- Following HIPAA guidelines and adhering to strict data privacy and remote work protocols, upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and security
- Participating in virtual team meetings, trainings, and process improvement initiatives, contributing to the growth and development of our team
Qualifications
To succeed as a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and computer skills
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA, with a minimum of 1-2 years of pharmacy technician experience in retail, mail-order, or long-term care settings
- Proficiency in pharmacy software systems, such as QS/1, PioneerRx, FrameworkLTC, or similar, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations, drug names, insurance billing, and HIPAA standards
- A typing speed of 50+ WPM with high accuracy, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently and accurately
- Excellent written communication and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Reliable high-speed internet and a secure, distraction-free home office setup, ensuring your ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment

Compensation
