Experienced Chat Moderator – Remote Community Management and Conflict Resolution Specialist

As a part-time, remote, and flexible Chat Moderator, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a positive and respectful environment on our official Discord server. Job Description

As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules.
• Deleting messages that violate our community standards, including but not limited to:

+ Hate speech and harassment + Spam and self-promotion + Inflammatory or divisive content + Personal attacks and insults

• Banning users who repeatedly violate our community guidelines, after a thorough investigation and warning process.
• Muting users who have violated our community guidelines, to prevent further disruption.
• Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations, and taking swift and fair action to resolve the issue.
• Collaborating with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and policies that promote a positive and respectful environment.
• Providing excellent customer service and support to users, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• To be at least 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• A deep understanding of online community management and moderation principles, with experience in creating and enforcing community guidelines and policies.
• Proficiency in Discord and other online community platforms, with the ability to navigate and troubleshoot technical issues.
• A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a passion for creating a safe and welcoming environment for all users.
