2D CAD Drafter (AutoCAD – Commercial Drawings) - Contract to Hire
Job Title: 2D CAD Drafter (AutoCAD – Commercial Drawings) Company: City Solutions Inc. About Us: City Solutions Inc. is a small, fast-paced firm that helps businesses obtain building permits for tenant improvements, high-pile storage, and storage rack installations. We specialize in streamlined, repeatable permit packages for commercial projects. --- Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable CAD Drafter to support ongoing commercial permit projects. This is a contract role with a steady pipeline of small projects. Work primarily involves updating and assembling 2D AutoCAD drawings using provided templates and redlines. --- Scope of Work: - Prepare and update 2D AutoCAD drawings, including:
- Cover sheets
- Site plans
- Floor plans
- Incorporate markups/redlines into existing templates
- Maintain consistency with company drafting standards
- Deliver clean, permit-ready drawing sets

- Typical effort:
5–8 hours per project
• Compensation:
$30/hour
*(or $150–$240 per project, depending on scope)* • Ongoing work: Multiple projects available per week (based on workload) --- What We Provide:

- Proficiency in
AutoCAD (2D drafting)

- Experience with permit sets or city submittals
- Familiarity with storage rack layouts or light industrial projects
