Email Designer for eCommerce Brands (Klaviyo Experience Required) - Contract to Hire
We’re launching a new email marketing agency focused exclusively on eCommerce brands, and we’re looking for a skilled Email Designer to join our core team. This is not a generic design role. We’re looking for someone who understands email marketing strategy for eCommerce, not just visuals. What You’ll Be Responsible For - Designing high-converting email templates for eCommerce brands - Creating designs for Klaviyo flows, including: - Welcome series - Abandoned cart - Browse abandonment - Post-purchase - Win-back / re-engagement - Designing campaign emails (promotions, product launches, seasonal sales) - Working with clear briefs tied to conversion goals, not just aesthetics - Ensuring designs are mobile-first, clean, and brand-aligned Required Experience - Proven experience designing email marketing for eCommerce brands - Strong familiarity with Klaviyo (flows, campaigns, email structure) - Understanding of email UX best practices (layout, hierarchy, CTA placement) - Experience working with existing brand guidelines - Ability to design emails that balance visual appeal + conversion Nice to Have (Big Plus) - Experience working with Shopify brands - Understanding of deliverability-friendly design (image/text balance) - Experience collaborating with copywriters or marketers - Ability to suggest improvements based on past performance What We’re Looking For (Important) - This is long-term work if it’s a good fit - You should have real examples of eCommerce email designs you’ve done - We value clarity, speed, and consistency over flashy design - You should be comfortable working as part of a growing agency team To Apply (Required) Please include: 1.
