The Opportunity: Clearance Coordinator

We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Clearance Coordinator to join our Production Operations team within the Content Division at arenaflex. This role is essential to ensuring our productions run smoothly from a legal and compliance standpoint, managing the complex landscape of content rights, clearances, and intellectual property considerations that are fundamental to bringing our stories to screen.

The Clearance Coordinator will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing the day-to-day production logistics and clearance requirements for our television and film content. This position works across multiple production entities and collaborates closely with opportunity managers, production executives, and legal advisors to ensure all content meets our rigorous standards for rights clearance and regulatory compliance.

Core Duties Include:

• Coordinate and manage production clearance processes for all programming content, including but not limited to music licensing, material clearances, location permits, talent releases, and third-party content approvals
• Ensure full compliance with all legal, financial, risk management, and corporate governance requirements for production processes within your assigned portfolio
• Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of clearance reports, identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies
• Resolve production-related legal inquiries regarding the use of copyrights, trademarks, and intellectual property, escalating complex matters to legal counsel when necessary
• Collaborate directly with opportunity managers and production legal advisors to streamline clearance workflows and maintain productive working relationships across departments
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all clearance activities, ensuring accurate record-keeping and easy retrieval of information
• Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact production clearance procedures, recommending updates to our processes as needed
