Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Data Analyst II – Information Expert, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Researching, gathering, and analyzing customer data to provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Developing and maintaining complex data models, including data pipelines and ETL processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs
- Creating data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and trends to stakeholders
- Identifying and addressing data quality issues to ensure accurate and reliable data
- Developing and maintaining data governance policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, or computer science
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with data analysis tools, including SQL, Python, and data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong understanding of data quality principles and practices, including data governance and data security
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as Google Bigquery and Hive
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will be advantageous:
- Experience working in the retail or financial services industries
- Strong knowledge of machine learning and AI models
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Looker and Scene
- Familiarity with data quality tools, such as Collibra Information Quality and SAS Information Management
- Experience with process automation tools, such as Selenium and Cucumber
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices
