Focus in Data Platform Teams

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop scalable, high-performance data systems that meet the evolving needs of our microservices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and TPMs, to drive business outcomes and deliver high-quality solutions
• Contribute to the development of open-source projects and contribute to arenaflex's OSS ecosystem
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical debt reduction efforts to maintain a high level of technical excellence
• Work closely with our Data Platform teams to design, develop, and deploy data infrastructure and tools that support our business capabilities

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems or applications

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and high availability
• Proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or GCP
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases

• Knowledge of data processing frameworks, such as Kafka, Flink, or Storm
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and business intelligence tools
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data quality
