What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
As a Customer Service Representative - Affiliates, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service via email and phone for policy inquiries, billing, and claims processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner.
- Entering account information: Enter customer account information into our agency management system and issue policies following department procedures.
- Communicating with agents: Communicate with agents regarding payment status, billing problems, and coverage questions.
- Collaborating with customers and staff: Collaborate with customers, agents, and staff to gather application data and claims processes.
- Preparing correspondence: Prepare emails and letters for correspondence with customers and agents.
What is Required (Qualifications)
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
- Two years of general business, insurance, or related experience: We're looking for candidates with at least two years of experience in a related field.
- CISR designation: We require candidates to hold or be willing to obtain the CISR designation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: You'll need to be proficient in using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills: Strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
