What you'll do
As a Senior Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to design and develop data engineering solutions that meet business needs
- Working with data engineers, architects, and developers to design, implement, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and systems
- Developing and maintaining data models, data warehouses, and data lakes using various technologies and tools
- Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems and pipelines
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and data analysts
- Participating in the development of arenaflex's data strategy and roadmap
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data engineering
What you'll need for success
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data lakes
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Experience with data integration, ETL, and data quality tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field
