AI Prompt Engineer/Chatbot Builder
Position: AI Prompt Engineer / Chatbot Builder Location: New York The Prompt Engineer / Chatbot Builder creates conversational experiences using GPT-based systems, Voiceflow, Botpress, or similar tools. You will design prompts, build chatbot flows, and optimize AI assistants to ensure consistent, high-quality outputs. You will work with clients to gather requirements, design flows, test variations, and refine prompts based on user behavior. Success in this role requires creativity, critical thinking, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize advanced prompts for different use cases
- Build chatbots using Voiceflow, Botpress, or similar tools
- Review AI outputs and refine prompts for improved response accuracy
- Work closely with automation specialists to integrate chatbots with workflows
- Document chatbot architecture and training steps
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong prompt writing and editing skills
- Familiarity with chatbot tools (Botpress / Voiceflow / ChatGPT)
- Passion for experimenting with AI-driven conversation design
- Ability to strategize and think like an end user
- Strong problem-solving and iteration mindset
- Ability to manage multiple client projects remotely
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Portfolio or examples of AI prompts/chatbots
- Fast learner with curiosity for emerging AI technologies
