QA Automation Engineer (Mobile & Backend)

Role: QA Automation Engineer (Mobile & Backend) Location: Remote/US(Any Location) Duration: 6 months $70/hr Descriptions: Roles & Responsibilities Create and maintain automated functional, regression, and end-to-end test scripts for Java based test frameworks Build and enhance mobile automation frameworks for Android and iOS Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation Perform API testing and support backend validation Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA, and verify fixes Maintain and improve automation coverage for new and existing features Work with development and QA teams to ensure quality and fast feedback cycles Generic Skills Strong problem-solving skills Good communication and collaboration Ability to work independently and in a team Technical/Function al Skills 1. Strong experience in test automation using Java, Kotlin, or Python 2. Hands-on experience in mobile automation using Appium, Espresso, UiAutomator, or XCUITest 3. Good knowledge of Swift or Objective-C for iOS automation 4. Experience in API testing using REST/SOAP protocols, Postman, and Rest Assured 5. Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks for Android and iOS 6. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Buildkite, or Spinnaker 7.
