Job Title: Sales & Service Engineer / Local Partner (Contract / Commission-Based) Location: Malaysia (Penang / Kuala Lumpur / Johor / Melaka) About the Role: We are seeking a Sales & Service Engineer or local technical partner (individual or small company) to support our business in Malaysia. This role combines technical service, installation, and sales activities for our cleaning and inspection equipment used in:
- SMT (Surface Mount Technology)
- Semiconductor backend (OSAT)
- Gravure printing industry
You will act as a local representative , supporting customers on-site while developing new business opportunities. Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment at customer sites
- Provide technical support and basic training to operators and engineers
- Visit SMT, semiconductor, and printing factories regularly
- Build strong relationships with customers and local distributors
- Identify new business opportunities and promote our products
- Support sales activities including product introduction and demonstrations
- Report market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to headquarters
Requirements:
- Experience in SMT, semiconductor backend, printing, or industrial equipment (preferred)
- Ability to communicate in
English and Chinese (Japanese is a strong plus)
- Technical background with hands-on service capability (installation, maintenance, troubleshooting)
- Self-motivated, independent, and result-oriented
- Existing network with local factories, EMS companies, OSAT, or distributors is highly valued
- Individuals or small engineering/service companies are welcome
