What we are looking for: A driven and mission focused Chaplain Resources Manager to increase prisoner participation in the Angel Tree program and champion Angel Tree in the eyes of chaplains as an asset to their ministry work to prisoners. You must reside in the IA, KS, MN, MO, ND, NE, SD, WI to adequately cover the territory.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions
- Build chaplain relationships, leveraging them to raise awareness of Prison Fellowship's programs with appropriate prison staff
- Drive Prison App strategy, framing it as a parenting tool for moms and dads in prison
- Manage Angel Tree sign up events by working with prison staff
- Work to establish Prison Fellowship as the premiere resource provider by increasing chaplain engagement in Storehouse usage and newsletter subscriptions
- Support field staff Angel Tree efforts
Requirements
- 5+ years staff or volunteer management
- 3+ years of event planning
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to network, adapt, persevere, and collaborate
- Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office
- Ability to learn in-house database
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated comfort working in a prison setting
- Ability to travel 40% (heavier in summer months)
- Must live in IA, KS, MN, MO, ND, NE, SD, WI to cover the territory and the driving aspect of this role is subject to certain driving record and insurance requirements
