Position Overview

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth of concrete batching, mixing, and related equipment across assigned territories. The role focuses on managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting and quoting to closing while developing long-term customer relationships and maintaining accurate data in the Zoho CRM system.

This position requires extensive travel and a strong technical aptitude to understand, demonstrate, and communicate the capabilities and benefits of Mixer Systems’ products.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Create new accounts and expand the existing customer base.
  • Retain and ensure the satisfaction of existing customers.
  • Manage sales expenses to remain within budget.

Sales Operations

  • Respond promptly to all sales inquiries.
  • Manage customer and lead data in Zoho CRM.
  • Prepare and coordinate Sales Activity Reports including quotes and forecasts.
  • Manage quotations, technical data, and customer documentation.
  • Create facility layouts for customers when required.

Customer Engagement & Marketing

  • Coordinate and conduct product demonstrations for prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and National Sales Manager to monitor sales performance.
  • Participate actively in trade shows and marketing initiatives.

Strategy & Communication

  • Monitor competitors and maintain files on competitive intelligence.
  • Contribute to research and development discussions.
  • Maintain consistent communication with other departments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the National Sales Manager.
Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma with additional technical training in manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
  • 5 years’ direct industry sales experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Working knowledge of CRM software and sales reporting tools.
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing. Motor Vehicle Report required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of industry experience with a strong network of customers.
  • Direct sales of concrete batching/mixing equipment or precast concrete operations.
  • Prior experience using Zoho CRM or similar systems.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and drive.
  • Must have a full range of body movement, including use of hands and fingers, bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching overhead.
  • Requires sufficient agility to safely move throughout office, manufacturing, and customer facility environments.
  • May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Frequent travel required (minimum 50%).
  • Must be able to travel by car and plane regularly to customer locations, trade shows, and Company facilities. Travel may entail routine traffic hazards.

Work Environment & Mental Demands

  • Work performed in an office setting, customer sites, and trade-show environments.
  • Occasionally required to travel to Mixer Systems for scheduled meetings or schools.
  • Exposure to manufacturing environments requiring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Standard workdays are typically 8-10 hours, with additional hours as needed.
  • Specific goals and strict deadlines may be stressful.

  • Achievement of individual and regional sales goals.
  • Growth in new customer accounts and retention of existing accounts.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of CRM data and reports.
  • Contribution to customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
