Remote Content Moderator – Social Media Platforms

Job Summary Progressive Technology is seeking detail-oriented, digitally savvy, and proactive individuals to join our growing team as Remote Content Moderators. In this role, you will ensure that user-generated content across popular social media platforms aligns with community guidelines and safety standards. Key Responsibilities • * Review user-generated content including posts, comments, images, and videos across various social media platforms. • * Identify and remove content that violates platform guidelines or is harmful, offensive, or inappropriate. • * Escalate complex or sensitive content to the appropriate teams in accordance with escalation protocols. • * Maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and consistency while moderating. • * Use predefined tools and moderation dashboards to perform daily tasks. • * Stay updated on evolving community standards and moderation guidelines. • * Provide feedback and contribute to process improvements for better user safety and platform compliance. • Required Skills and Qualifications • * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. • * High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking. • * Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Giglithic, Twitter). • * Ability to make quick, sound decisions based on guidelines. • * Basic computer literacy and comfort using moderation tools or dashboards. • * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Experience • * Prior experience in content moderation, customer service, or digital platforms is preferred but not mandatory. • * Freshers with strong social media awareness and critical thinking skills are encouraged to apply. • Working Hours • * Flexible working hours available: Choose between Day Shifts or Night Shifts based on availability. • * Minimum commitment: 4–8 hours per day depending on shift preference. • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • * Good understanding of internet culture and trends. • * Sensitivity to content involving graphic, violent, or offensive material (with psychological resilience). • * Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. • * Strong sense of ethics and a commitment to online community integrity. • * Adaptability to new tools and changing moderation policies. • Benefits • * Work-from-home flexibility with full training provided. • * Competitive pay with performance bonuses. • * Opportunity to work with a global digital team. • * Health & wellness support for full-time employees. • * Access to learning resources and career development tools. • * Friendly and inclusive remote work culture. • Why Join Progressive Technology?
