Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Monroeville, PA. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, resolving complex issues, and ensuring that every interaction is a positive and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide top-notch customer service to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy via phone, email, or chat

  • Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and reverifying benefits
  • Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
  • Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues
  • Demonstrate superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners to ensure timely processing of specialty medications and meet financial and clinical expectations
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating compassionate and genuine care for patients and customers

Essential Qualifications

* One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving complex customer needs over the phone

  • One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
  • One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude
  • Must reside in Pennsylvania and live within 75 miles of Monroeville, PA

Preferred Qualifications

* Pre-existing healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology

Education

* Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent

Work Schedule and Pay

* Work schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Sunday, 7:30am-10:30pm EST

  • Pay range: $17.00 - $28.46 per hour (base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary)
