Job title: Part Time Middle School Language Arts Teacher 2023 Company: Archdiocese of Chicago Job description: The classroom teacher is responsible for helping students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, responsible adults. The classroom teacher: creates and delivers engaging lessons to diverse groups of students at all levels; promotes enthusiasm for learning and for subjects; adheres to curriculum standards; and collects and reports on correct and detailed records of student performance. Qualifications and Requirements:

• A Bachelor?s Degree / Master?s Degree is preferred
• A valid and current Professional Educators License (PEL)
• Language Arts Endorsement
• Ability to plan and teach appropriate grade level curriculum
• Ability to establish collaborative relationships with co-teacher or grade level teaching staff

Personal and Professional Qualities: The classroom teacher must possess the ability to work tactfully and effectively with students, teachers, administrators, and parents. He/she must display evidence of an educational philosophy in agreement with that of the School of Ss. Faith, Hope and Charity. He/she must display an ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents. Professional Responsibilities:
