Position: Facilities Manager (Colorado Springs, CO) Colorado Springs - Colorado - United States of America About The Role As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of healthcare facilities across the Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Durango markets. This critical role is responsible for ensuring the operational excellence, safety, and compliance of approximately 60 non‑acute care facilities, including medical office suites, clinics, and urgent care centers. You will lead a team of Mobile Engineers, manage comprehensive maintenance programs, foster strong client relationships, and drive operational efficiencies to support our clients' healthcare delivery mission. What You’ll Do

  • Manage a large portfolio of healthcare facilities, including Medical Office Suites, Clinics, Non‑acute care facilities, and Urgent Care centers.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure facilities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Work onsite and travel to various sites at least two days a week, with remote work possible when not required onsite.
  • Supervise facilities maintenance for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, life safety systems, and general maintenance.
  • Train, mentor, and formally supervise 6 Mobile Engineers, including scheduling daily activities and ensuring timely work order completion.
  • Mentor and provide training to the team to reduce reliance on outside vendors, promoting self‑performance of maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
  • Manage vendor relationships, review invoicing procedures, evaluate price quotes for parts, services, and labor, and oversee the portfolio budget to ensure cost savings.
  • Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
  • Interact with executive‑level stakeholders, lead meetings to provide updates, and maintain positive client relationships, addressing unresolved facility issues. The role is client‑facing.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day‑to‑day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

What You’ll Need

  • 5 years of proven experience in facilities management, preferably within a healthcare or multi‑site environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a technical team.
  • In‑depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to facility operations and safety.
  • Excellent budget management and cost control abilities.
  • Exceptional client‑facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the specified geographic areas.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
