[Remote] Junior IT Support Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Serrala is a global leader in finance process automation, providing innovative solutions for over 40 years. The Junior IT Support Specialist will manage endpoint devices, support network and VPN issues, and handle ticketing documentation while collaborating with Sales and Product teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage endpoint devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools such as Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro, ensuring that endpoints, AV equipment and cloud-based systems support optimal productivity for end-users
- Support and troubleshoot within Microsoft Intune, Entra ID and SharePoint environments
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to network interruptions, VPN connections, and other connectivity concerns
- Track and manage support tickets using Jira Service Management and create clear, accessible technical documentation and specifications in Confluence
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent experiences will also be considered
- Experience in IT support or service delivery roles, with expertise across multi-platform environments, ideally including both PC and Mac systems
- Proficiency in networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and routing
- Hands-on experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), ideally including Jira Service Management
- Strong understanding of M365 administration, Entra ID, and Intune
- Knowledge of IT security systems and protocols, particularly Microsoft Defender and monitoring tools
- Basic knowledge of Endpoint Application Support (incl. M365) and Autopilot
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong collaborator who contributes actively to a supportive, solution-oriented team environment
- Customer service & problem solving skills
- German language skills are an advantage
