[Remote] Commission Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Commission Analyst role focuses on discovering missing commission revenue, researching discrepancies, and ensuring accurate financial reporting while serving as a liaison between operations and accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Liaison between operations personnel and local, regional, and corporate accounting to ensure correct posting of revenue
  • Utilize business management and document management systems to obtain needed supporting documents
  • Generate Salesforce and AIM expected reports and consolidate data into designated Excel template file
  • Analyze data and research variances indicating missing revenue
  • Communicate with internal servicers and outside carrier representatives to determine issues and status of payment
  • Resolve producer commission inquiries
  • Work in conjunction with Specialty Finance Center (SFC) and Specialty Program Accounting Resource Center (SPARC) to resolve posting issues
  • Other duties as occasionally requested by regional finance, HFC and ARC
  • Effectiveness and incentives measured by revenue recovered and successful completion of assigned tasks
  • Distribute monthly H2H reports to designated contacts in the region(s)
  • Distribute quarterly Ghost Transaction and $DX Activities Closed Unsuccessful to designated contacts in the region(s)
  • Gather escalated commission statements and submit them to the Carrier Management Team as requested from the Carrier Management Team

Skills

  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Super initiative and problem-solving capability
  • Experience with Salesforce, AIM, or a similar insurance agency management system preferred
