ENTRUST Solutions Group is a leader in engineering services for gas and electric utilities, and they are seeking a Design Engineer I to work on electric projects and programs. This role involves local travel for site visits and fieldwork, leveraging technical expertise to ensure designs meet project specifications while collaborating with other team members.
Responsibilities
- Drive the design, upgrade, and maintenance of critical utility systems
- Ensure design meets project specifications
- Communicate challenges related to scope, schedule, and quality
- Collaborate with Designers and Drafters to complete design packages
Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an accredited institution
- Must have a valid driver's license without restrictions for occasional fieldwork and site visits
- Electrical engineering major
- Located near ENTRUST's San Antonio office and willing to work a combination of from home and in the office, as needed
- EIT certification
