About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team in Nigeria. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in preparing financial statements, leading end-to-end legal entity reviews, and providing analysis of reporting data to support executive meetings. Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing financial statements according to IFRS legal reporting requirements on a timely basis
• Leading end-to-end legal entity reviews as directed by the Delivery Leader/Chief Legal Entity Reporting (LER)
• Preparing local GAAP to US GAAP reconciliations, assessing significant changes for GAAP differences
• Leading client calls and providing analysis of reporting data to support executive meetings
• Managing delivery of multiple markets simultaneously and performing peer-level review or consolidation
• Managing work and providing leadership and support to junior team members
• Conducting research as needed on GAAP, regulations, and laws
• Ensuring effective controls and governance are adhered to

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., accounting, finance)
• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in public accounting, audit, or legal entity reporting
• Strong financial accounting and reporting background, including knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS-Office applications, with working knowledge of Essbase or similar software
