Job Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating and handling new patient medication orders and reorders
• Verifying and updating benefits, confirming copays, and obtaining approvals
• Collaborating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve order issues
• Providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and internal partners

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree

• Active IL Pharmacy Technician License
• 1+ year of experience in customer service, handling complex client needs via phone
• 1+ year of experience with Windows-based applications (Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email)
• 1+ year of PC keyboarding experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Healthcare experience

• Knowledge of benefits, insurance, pharmacy, and clinical terminology
