About arenaflex

arenaflex is a leading healthcare organization dedicated to providing innovative and compassionate care to our patients. Our Laboratory Billing Services Department is a critical component of our operations, and we're seeking a Temporary Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Temporary full-time day shift position, you'll work Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:30pm, and enjoy a flat rate of $20/hour.

Temporary Assignment Details

This is a temporary assignment estimated to last 3-4 months. As a Temporary Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling incoming calls, resolving issues related to member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment issues, as well as patient services needs such as updating billing information, establishing payment plans, resolving payment inquiries, or patient scheduling. Your primary goal will be to provide quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education.

Responsibilities

As a Temporary Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling incoming calls from patients or members to address issues related to:

+ Member eligibility + Plan prescription benefits + Claim payment issues + Patient services needs such as updating billing information, establishing payment plans, resolving payment inquiries, or patient scheduling

  • Providing quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education
  • Resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Two years of Customer Service experience, preferably in a hospital or physician's office setting, specifically Laboratory
  • Experience registering patients preferred
  • High Volume call center experience preferred
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Data entry skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience working in a medical insurance setting
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR system
  • Data entry skills
  • High Volume call center experience
