No Fault Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Associate Attorney
Lewis Brisbois is a full-service Am Law 100 firm seeking an attorney to join their No Fault Insurance Personal Injury Protection (PIP) defense litigation team. The role involves managing all aspects of PIP/no-fault litigation, including case management, discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of PIP/no-fault litigation from case inception to resolution
- Handle discovery, motion practice, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations
- Conduct Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Examinations Under Oath (EUOs)
- Prepare comprehensive reports with a focus on SIU and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) matters
Skills
- At least one (1) to seven (7) years of No-Fault PIP defense litigation experience
- Experience managing a diverse caseload involving no-fault claims, arbitrations, and mediations
- Ability to stay current on evolving laws and regulations to ensure effective and compliant defense strategies
- Manage all aspects of PIP/no-fault litigation from case inception to resolution, discovery, motion practice, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations
- Conduct Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Examinations Under Oath (EUOs) and prepare comprehensive reports with a focus on SIU and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) matters
